The album ‘’Sour’’ was a fan favorite among pre-teens, teens, and young adults. Her new album could be considered a big success among teens and young adults. Rodrigo has sold over 302,000 albums and has over 100 million streams of her new album ‘’Guts’’. The Album was produced with help of Rodrigo’s friend, Petra Collins. It is her sophomore album . Based on the reviews from students the new album “Guts” may not be everyone’s favorite.

The new album “Guts” has certain colors that represent new stages of Olivia’s life. According to online sources, the purple in her album represents her child- like innocence and the red represents her new adulthood stage in her life, Rodrigo is now entering.The “Guts’’ album has included more rock, loud music whereas the “Sour’’ album was more piano and soft melancholy songs. Her “Sour’’ album was the big debut album of her songwriting career. Recently there has been a scandal concerning one of the new album’s songs. It supposedly is a rip off of one of famous singer and actor Miley Cyrus song. Both of the songs are similar in sound and some lyrics. This supposed rip off may ruin Rodrigo’s career forever. With this scandal, the new album could get taken down, so listen to it while you can! Based on the reviews we have from students, we consider the album “Guts” to be a fail.
